When broken down, “Facebook love” accounts for 47.5 percent of the total reactions, with 221,336. Followed by “Facebook like” with 350,236 reactions (47.4 percent), “Facebook haha” with 13,941 (3 percent), “Facebook wow” with 5,500 (1.2 percent), “Facebook sad” with 3,911 (0.8 percent), and “Facebook angry” with 318 reactions.  Looking at the data, the majority of “Facebook love” and “Facebook like” reactions can be attributed to several Filipino social media users taking season 86 of the UAAP in a good presence.   Online mentions Capstone-Intel likewise revealed that UAAP Season 86 received 95.5 percent positive mentions, and the remaining 4.5 percent were negative mentions. This means that the article mentions the brand was mostly angled positively. On Facebook, there were 502 posts that mentioned Tim Cone, with a total of 1,282,387 reactions once all the posts are consolidated. The data shows an overall positive reception from online users regarding Tim Cone’s new position. One illustrative example in this case pertains to the compelling stories that generated significant engagement, particularly involving the coach. A notable instance is a post by Basketball Ground on Facebook, which achieved an impressive engagement score of 23,242.9. Specifically, the post garnered 87,971 (52.1 percent) Like reactions, 80,328 (47.6 percent) Love reactions, 145 (0.1 percent) Haha reactions, 353 (0.2 percent) Wow reactions, and 2 Sad and Angry reactions each. According to Capstone-Intel, the significant level of both Like and Love reactions suggests a positive response among online users who have viewed this specific post or news article. “This positive sentiment stemming from the high love and like reactions can be attributed to the team’s inspiring comeback from previous setbacks, demonstrating their unwavering determination and resilience. The significance of camaraderie and teamwork in major sporting events such as basketball is evident in their success. It is not only evident within the team itself but also extends to the players, coaches, and their devoted fans. The warm reception received by Coach Cone upon joining the Gilas team further underscores the importance of unity in driving teams towards victory,” according to Capstone-Intel. “Also, we acknowledge the significant contribution of fan support in enhancing the performance of teams during matches. The overall morale and motivation provided by the fans can often be the determining factors in securing a championship victory,” it added. The second-highest interaction score was achieved by another article on One Sports’ Facebook page, which draws a comparison between Tim Cone’s return and the concept of a TOTGA, or “The One That Got Away.” This article received significant engagement, with a total score of 18,886. Like reactions accounted for 50,861 (37.1%) of the total engagement, followed by Love reactions at 85,958 (62.7%). Additionally, it received 51 Haha reactions, 263 Wow reactions, 1 Sad reaction, and 3 Angry reactions. Tim Cone’s leadership lead the Gilas Pilipinas to win the gold at the 2023 Asian Games.
